How to set up the HP Office Jet 200 Mobile Printers - Wireless Printer

This blog is useful to set up the HP Office Jet 200 Mobile Printers - Wireless Printer without any warning. If you set up your HP office jet mobile printer can does some work like print, copy, scanning your document.

You have to install the printer driver and software from your hp site.  If you want to install the software to select the wireless connection.

Prepare for installation:

First, you have to collect the network name, password and turn on your router, printer, and computer.

Collect the following items like:

•    Network name:  network name is the SSID (Service Set Identifier).

•    Network password: password must be called the WEP key or WPA security passphrase.

•    Your computer has to connect with your wireless network.

•    Internet access: HP broadband Internet access such as cable, DSL for software downloads, Web Services and printer updates.

Make sure to check the router and computer are turned on and then the computer is connected to the same wireless network to which is connected to the printer.

Turn on your printer and then place it close to your computer and within the range of the router during the setup procedure. Disconnect the USB or Ethernet cable from your printer, if necessary.

Connect to the wireless network:

The wireless setup wizard is connected to your printer network. So during the installation process, the Hp installer can be finding the printer.

1.    On your printer home screen to select printer control panel, use the arrow buttons to select Wireless, and then click OK option.

2.    In the Settings to select the wireless option to press OK.

3.    Press the down arrow to select Wireless Setup Wizard, and then press OK.

4.    Scroll the down arrow to select the name of your network, and then press OK.

You have to enter it manually because if the list does not contain your network name.

1.    Scroll the down arrow to select Enter New Name, and then press OK.

2.    Scroll the down arrow to select the appropriate letters or numbers on the on-screen keyboard. 

3.    When you entered the new network name, scroll the down arrow to select done option and press OK. Now prompt to enter the WEP or WPA key.

4.    Scroll down the arrow the appropriate letters or numbers on the on-screen keyboard.

  You have to enter the exact uppercase (capital) and lowercase (small) letters. Otherwise, the wireless connection fails.

5. When you finish entering the WEP key or WPA key, select done option to press OK.

Download and install the driver

Download and install the new version of your printer software from the HP website.

Follow the step to install and download:

1.    Go to 123.hp.com site.

2.    Enter your printer model number to click Begin option.

3.    Click Download the driver to click Open and Save or Run in your system that displays to your download the driver to your computer.

4.     In the Downloads folder on the computer to launch the driver installation.

5.    Follow on-screen instructions to complete the setup and driver installation process.

6.    Now go to 123.hp.com page in your web browser to complete the printer registration and activation for your printer.
