Configure HP Officejet Pro 8710 Printer Wireless Network Setup


Initiating the network setup

The steps to perform before, getting into the configuration of the HP Officejet Pro 8710 wireless printer setup are below.
Things required for Wireless network configuration for HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 Printer:
  • HP Officejet Pro 8710 wireless printer's, Network name usually called SSID (Service Set Identifier).
  • HP Officejet Pro 8710 wireless printer's, Network Password.
  • Turn On a PC that is connected wirelessly to the same network.
  • Regarding the network connection, HP always recommends broadband Web access namely cord or DSL while performing.
    • Printer Software and drivers’ downloads.
    • Printer drivers’ updates.
  • Make sure the Windows PC and the Printer are turned on moreover, connect them to the same wireless network.
  • To Avoid network interferences and increase signal strength, make sure you place the printer and the PC in propinquity.
  • Before starting the HP Officejet Pro 8710 wireless setup remove any USB or Ethernet cables connected to the printer.

Connect to the wireless network
You can handle and establish the wireless connection to the printer using the Wireless Setup Wizard by simple means.
  • You can use the Navigation Arrow on the printer control panel to move to the second screen.
  • The select the setup icon.
  • The choose the Network settings, then opt to launch the Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • Finally, select the Continue option from the panel.
  • You will be able to choose the Network name from the checklist that is available.
  • If the network name of the Home Router, does not appear in the checklist automatically, you can continue by manually entering the Network Name.
  • Then select the Submit option after entering the name of the Network.
  • you can now enter the Network password, usually called as WEP or WPA key when you receive the prompts.

 Step to Install & Uninstall HP Driver

Once the user completes the HP Officejet Pro 8710 wireless printer setup, you can start installing its driver software with the help of the steps below.
Driver Software Installation:
  • Unplug the USB cord from the wireless printer before the starting the driver installation.
  • Select the printer model as HP Officejet Pro 8710 wireless printer, if not detected automatically.
  • Then stick to the instructions that are available on the PC screen.
  • You can visit the 123 hp com setup site and navigate to the download page.
  • Now, select the Download HP Drivers options.
  • Follow and complete the rest of the installation of the HP Printer Driver.
Uninstall Driver software:
  • At first, you need to navigate to the Control Panel.
  • And then can locate and clicks uninstall option for the HP Printer Driver.
  • Users can follow the Uninstall wizard instructions to remove the existing Driver software from the HP Printer.
